HPV is a very common sexually transmitted virus that usually goes away by itself, and not fatal. Most people who have contracted this virus, in fact, never know they’ve had it. However, it can turn fatal by developing into Cervical Cancer. This is why it’s crucial to have a thorough doctor’s examination for Cervical Cancer, as well as many others.

Symptoms usually do not appear until abnormal cervical cells become cancerous and spread to other tissue, so be one the look out for the first signs of Cervical Cancer.
